Traffic Exchanges

What to promote?

There are so many traffic exchanges out there its difficult to know which one to use, which works best and how best to use them. Every day you see another new traffic exchange being launched, beautiful designs, beautiful graphics offering better delivery of traffic to your web site. The question is, does it all really work?

The best way to find out if it all works is to use a tracking tool that will display the statistics. If you can't afford a pro version of one then there a few good free tracking tools around, like the one provided by Google. Traffic exchanges provide basic statistics, usually  telling you how many times your site was seen, however this does not necessarily mean that the visitor was interested in what he saw, or that he took the time to look further or signed up to your offer.

surfing

Try to be objective about the kind of page you display on a traffic exchange. Surfers at exchanges are there to earn credits and promote their  offers, so don't try to sell them something. Exchanges use timers, anything from about 6 seconds to 30seconds to display your message, that's free traffic to your website.

So, does your page open quickly?  Does it have a captivating headline?  is the page attractive/appealing/distracting enough? Does it provide a quick summary of what you are promoting. Does it have a call to action? eg. Click here or For more details, fill in the form, in

this way you build your list mailing list of free leads. If your page conforms to these basic standards then you should have some positive results. Sign ups or sales often do not come immediately and its easy to get despondent.  By being consistent in your work, surfing exchanges daily, you develop a good traffic flow to your site and eventually sales will follow.

There are many traffic exchanges out there some more complex than others. Its best to find a few that you really enjoy working on, can understand how it works and get good support if you have any queries.

YORGOO weekend surf..

'The Sun has got his hat on, shout hip, hip, hooray!'

sun There's an idiom that goes 'make hay while the sun shines' and that is certainly something one has had to do in the U.K. this summer. The weather has been so unpredictable. We've had storms, strong winds, thunderstorms, rain and its has been cold, with the odd warm spell.

So when this morning we had nearly clear blue skies, a slight breeze and wonderful sunshine, I decided - no screen today. Let's make hay! Catch up with some of those outside tasks and enjoy the weather. L o v e l y!

It's catch up online now.
The pink roses after being battered by heavy rains and strong winds are proving that they have the YORGOO stamina…UNBEATABLE!! Bianca rest assured they are strong and healthy and fighting fit. And the hot apple crumble with cream is absolutely delicious while I sit watching them.

Now to some serious stuff, the

Building web site traffic

It's a daily task

Whether building a business, promoting a product or just list building…it all starts with………TRAFFIC.
The never ending story of planning a daily routine and following through on the tasks.  Yes, its all in the follow through, NOT just the plan.

With YORGOO we work as a team, and plan a daily routine and tasks. It's simple…its a HABIT. With the ups and downs of the net communication may suffer a little, but if your habit is strong enough…we survive.

Read todays Daily Task here while the YORGOO blog is a little stuck ;)
Follow through on the daily habit, join the contest, perhaps even enjoy being the daily winner.

To your success,
Zo Nicholas
